Click through the image above for a few cool jottings the UrbanSketchers Twin Cities folks did while at the 1968 Exhibit. Above the Trudell Guerue Huey helicopter piece I edited together is immortalized with pen and paper.
Only a few more weeks until the ‘68 Exhibit packs up and heads out to sunny Oakland, CA. So if you’re in the MSP area, get on over to check it out.

Well, The 1968 Exhibit is up and running. We had a fantastic opening party last Thursday evening, with hundreds of patrons coming through to check out the show. The crowds continued coming all through the weekend, giving all the media pieces I worked on a good work out.

Pictured above are the introductory lobby, the projections in the Huey helicopter, the Chicago DNC piece, and the 1968 Music Trip quiz show, respectively.

The whole project was a great joy to work on and gave me the chance to meet and produce work alongside a fantastic crew of people. I also learned a thing or two about history, which I suppose is always a plus.

So if you’re in the area, groove on over to The Minnesota History Center and check out the exhibit. Your vibes will thank you.

The 1968 Exhibit timeline, for which I edited all the video content is now live and viewable online! Click-through the image above to experience the events of ‘68.
This was a fantastic and fun project to work on, getting to sift through hours and hours of archive footage and crafting these events into concise bursts of video. The bulk of my time working on the ‘68 Project has been on these short videos, so I hope you enjoy them!
Now, I need to get back to working on the Music Quiz! The show opens in less than a month!

The 1968 Exhibit is beginning to take shape at the History Center.

Our Huey helicopter arrived yesterday. I’ve been hard at work on the media pieces we will be projecting in the empty body of the aircraft.

Above is a time-lapse video of the helicopter being installed in our gallery. Can’t wait!
